Mana Moana is a curated, artist-led collaboration bringing together Māori and Pasifika visual artists, musicians, writers, and choreographers to create short art films.
I had the privilege of working alongside the Mana Moana Collective to produce a series of visually striking short films.
These films were projected onto a massive shimmering water screen in Wellington Lagoon, where light and water combined to create a mesmerizing, almost mirage-like viewing experience. The project introduced an exciting new way to engage with film, blending art and technology in a unique and immersive format.

Following its debut in Wellington, the films were later showcased in Dunedin and internationally, appearing in Scotland and Dubai as part of COP27 and COP28.
